Hi Shellie,
I admire you very much. I am the Deputy Principal at a small school in Brisbane and I would love to invite you to our school Sorry Day Parade. I met you at the Woodford Folk Festival and spoke to you about your forgiving attitude. I know you are a Territory Woman but if you are in Brisbane at amy stage I would be honoured to put the kettle on and introduce you to our Murri kids. Thanks Shellie,

fell asleep, TV on, woke up at 3.30am to the sound of 'Swept Away', I was. Find it hard to believe that Australia's greatest singer/songwriter has such a low profile. Searched and found all i could including the 3 pt.doco available on YouTube. Music apart just to hear you speak is to fall in love. If you come to WA please try to do a concert in the South West, recommend 'Broadwater Farm'.

I worked with Shellie in 2006 at Darwin young carer's collaboration with hidden corners and found it to be an amazing experience. Just wanted to know how to get in touch with Shellie again to explore more young people/ singing song writing opportunities in the ACT.

Wow, Shellie, I am honestly blown away from listening to you sing on Tuesday night at Queensland University. I know I heard you sing lots of times when I was living in Darwin all those years ago, and I loved your voice back then, but boy oh boy, you've gotten so good and your spirit is so much more infused with your music now, I really hear your soul in your voice and your guitar. Thanks so much for being such a beautiful person and good luck at the Winter Olympics

Hi Shellie.
Gosh I can't believe it. I remember you so much. Your beautiful smile. You lived down the road from me in Gymea. We went to the same school, Miranda Public and then Gymea High (I think). I will always remember your BEAUTIFUL smile. Congratulations! You are so talented. I found you on Facebook and am in awe of your talent. I remember you played in the school band and Miranda. You have come a long way. Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and hopefully I might catch your concert in Sydney on 26th January. You should do a concert at the Tradies across the road from where you grew up. That would be a blast don't you think.
Best wishes, Sue.

Hi Shellie,
Me again - what a drongo, spelt your name wrong - so sorry - have been on the road a bit and am exhausted. Been listening to your beautiful music as I travel around to all the Communities, want to order some Black Arm Band Albums to go with yours to every school too! Such uplifting singing up country. My daughter and i saw you at womad on the 24th of july we'd been really ratty with each other the weather i guess and the lack of money, what i wanted to say was though, was that the music that the two of you played touched us both on such a deep fundamental level that it blew the rain away from our lives, and for me especially you were the most amazing singer songwriter, up there with those i respect:joni mitchell, kate bush, tracey chapman and joan armatrading thankyou so much and i'm sorry i couldn't afford the album from the womad shop, one love.

Hi Shellie. performing nivarna jam on 18th. Drummer, two violin, harmonica, keyboard, two guitar, four singers (one guitarist/singer blind). All westerners, only one from darwin (guitarist/singer) but original language song. My family know of this. tell ya one day down the road. If it's filmed, family will view first, for private not public. If it go this path would really like you to see it. Right now just wanted to share that I'm real proud of this gathering exspecially the singers for their heart and passion for good pronounciation, their energy fills the song on a level higher than I imagined which lift and warm the soul. By the way saw you on ABC at the opera house, quiet little achiever. Still Shellie, just that this time the lounge is on a much bigger scale! The way you talk with the audience really welcomes strangers then your songs steal their hearts! Have fun europe way and see you someday down the road. kerone
